Terms and Conditions – Online Access Keys

Access and Use

Online access keys are issued to provide access to designated digital training content. Each access key is licensed solely to the individual or organization that purchased it and may not be shared, transferred, resold, or reassigned without prior written authorization.

Validity and Expiration

All online access keys are valid for twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase. No extensions, refunds, or credits will be provided for unused or partially used access keys after the expiration date unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Online Theory Completion Requirements

Users must complete all assigned online theory training modules and achieve a minimum passing grade of 80% on all applicable theory assessments.

Prerequisite for Practical Training

Successful completion of the online theory training is mandatory prior to any practical training or evaluation. Practical training must be delivered by a certified trainer.

If practical training or evaluation is conducted before confirmed completion of the online theory, Johnston Equipment (GNJ) assumes no responsibility for this situation. In such cases, additional sessions may be required, including a return visit to certify each operator individually, which may result in additional costs or scheduling delays.

Online Training in Lieu of In-Class Training

If online theory training is selected instead of in-class training, it must be fully completed prior to the practical training and testing. Completion of the online theory at least 24 hours before the scheduled practical session is strongly recommended.

NOTE: Johnston Equipment is not responsible for ensuring completion of the online theory or for communicating any discrepancies related to participant completion status. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that all participants have successfully completed the online theory requirements.

Each participant must present proof of completion of the online theory (printed certificate, screenshot, or photograph) to the trainer before beginning practical training and testing. Participants without acceptable proof will not be permitted to proceed.

User Responsibility

Users and customers are responsible for managing timelines to ensure all theory and assessment requirements are completed within the 24-month validity period. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of access and/or training eligibility.

Technical Requirements

Users are responsible for providing compatible devices, software, and reliable internet connectivity to access the online training materials. Technical difficulties beyond the provider's control do not extend the access key validity period.

Termination of Access

The provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate access, without refund, if these terms and conditions are breached, including but not limited to unauthorized sharing or misuse of access keys.

Amendments

These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Updated terms will apply to access keys purchased after the effective date of revision.
